We’re pleased to offer you several options to make receiving and paying your Piedmont Natural Gas bill easier. For more information on the different options, see the Billing and Payment Frequently Asked Questions below. Please note, effective June 1st, 2022, Piedmont business customers will be able to pay by credit or debit card for a 2.75% convenience charge; however, Visa payments will no longer be an option for payment. No fee will be charged for ACH payments.

Log in to your Online Services account and click "Pay Now" under your Account Summary to proceed to our payment site. From there, follow the "Pay by Text" instructions to enroll and receive a text message notification on your mobile phone when your natural gas bill is ready. You can pay your bill using securely stored payment information by responding to the text message. Note: You do not need to make a payment to enroll in Pay by Text.

Use this option to make a one-time payment online with your bank account (checking or savings) or your credit card (MasterCard, American Express or Discover). Please note, effective Jan. 4, 2022, Piedmont business customers will be able to pay by credit card for a 2.75% convenience charge; however, Visa payments will no longer be an option for payment. Payments using American Express can only be made by phone via IVR or Customer Care Specialist. Electronic check (ACH) payments will no longer pay a convenience fee, regardless of payment channel.
To pay your bill online, simply sign in to your Online Services account from the home page or by choosing "Pay Online" on the Payment and Billing Options page. If you are not registered for Online Services, you can do so by clicking "Register for Online Services" on the sign-in screen. Please note: To register, you will need your account number, which can be found on your bill, and your ZIP code.

When you sign up for Automatic Bank Draft, your monthly payments automatically will be drafted directly from your bank account on the due date indicated on your bill. To enroll in Automatic Bank Draft, simply log in to your Online Services account. If you are not registered for Online Services, you can do so by clicking "Register for Online Services" on the login screen. Please note: To register, you will need your account number, which can be found on your bill, and your ZIP code.

Your Piedmont Natural Gas bill can be mailed to the address below. Please allow seven to 10 days for your payment to be received, and include your account number on your check. When mailing your payment, please include the remittance slip at the bottom of your paper bill. If you do not have your remittance slip, you can view and print a copy by clicking "View My Bill" on the Payment and Billing Options page and logging in to your Online Services account, then selecting the appropriate month's bill.

Your natural gas service will not be terminated if, prior to the scheduled termination date,you are able to establish that you are unable to pay your account in full and you agree to enter into a reasonable installment agreement. An approved late payment charge of 1% per month will apply to the balance in arrears. The installment agreement shall encompass both the sum of the outstanding balance and also the estimated charges for natural gas usage, which is reasonably projected by the company to occur during the period of the agreement. Estimated charges shall be based upon an analysis of past usage.
