Q: How can I pay my bill online?
A: Use this option to make a one-time payment online with your bank account (checking or savings) or your credit card (Visa™, MasterCard or Discover) absolutely free. (Please note: At this time, credit card payments are available for Residential customers only.)

To pay your bill online, simply log in to your Online Services account from the home page or by choosing "Pay Online" on the Payment and Billing Options page. If you are not registered for Online Services, you can do so by clicking "Register for Online Services" on the login screen. Please note: To register, you will need your account number, which can be found on your bill, and your ZIP code.

Q: What is Automatic Bank Draft?
A: When you sign up for Automatic Bank Draft, your monthly payments automatically will be drafted directly from your bank account on the due date indicated on your bill. To enroll in Automatic Bank Draft, simply log in to your Online Services account. If you are not registered for Online Services, you can do so by clicking "Register for Online Services" on the login screen. Please note: To register, you will need your account number, which can be found on your bill, and your ZIP code.

Q: How can I pay my bill over the phone?
A: Avoid disconnection or late fees by paying your Piedmont Natural Gas bill through Western Union SpeedPay for same-day processing. Call 1-866-316-3356 toll-free 24 hours a day. Western Union charges $3.50 for this service.

Q: How can I pay by text message?
A: Log in to your Online Services account and click "Pay Now" under your Account Summary to proceed to our payment site. From there, follow the "Pay by Text" instructions to enroll and receive a text message notification on your mobile phone when your natural gas bill is ready. You can pay your bill using securely stored payment information by responding to the text message. Note: You do not need to make a payment to enroll in Pay by Text.

Q: Where can I pay my bill in person?
A: Bring your bill to any of our authorized payment locations to make your payment. Find the authorized payment location nearest you.

Q: Where can I mail my payment?
A: Your Piedmont Natural Gas bill can be mailed to the address below. Please allow seven to 10 days for your payment to be received, and include your account number on your check. When mailing your payment, please include the remittance slip at the bottom of your paper bill. If you do not have your remittance slip, you can view and print a copy by clicking "View My Bill" on the Payment and Billing Options page and logging in to your Online Services account, then selecting the appropriate month's bill.

Q: How can I enroll in eBill?
A: Go paperless! Our secure eBill allows you to pay your Piedmont Natural Gas bill directly from your email inbox. If you are registered for Online Services, simply log in to your account and click "Enroll Now" under "eBill Status" in your Account Summary. If you are not registered for Online Services, you will need to do so to enroll in eBill. Click "Register for Online Services" on the login screen. Please note: To register, you will need your account number, which can be found on your bill, and your ZIP code.

Q: What is the Equal Payment Plan (EPP)?
A: EPP spreads your natural gas bills into equal installments over a 12-month period. Make budgeting for energy bills easier by paying a set amount each month. For more information on EPP, visit our EPP Frequently Asked Questions page.

Q: What is CheckFree?
A: CheckFree is a separate service that allows you to enroll to receive bills via email and pay online with your checking or savings account. When using this service, please allow two business days for your payment to post to your Piedmont Natural Gas account.
