At Piedmont Natural Gas, we are proud of our commitment to improving the economic and social vitality of the communities we serve. As an active member of these communities, our goal is to improve the quality of life for our customers, neighbors and employees by supporting energy assistance programs through:
Share the Warmth Round Up
The Piedmont Natural Gas Foundation makes annual contributions to Share the Warmth, and has contributed more than $1.3 million dollars since the program began.
Piedmont customers can participate as well by choosing to round up their monthly bill to the nearest dollar, with the difference going directly to an approved Share the Warmth organization.

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
Piedmont works directly with the congressional delegations in our communities to support federal funding and distribution of funds for this program. LIHEAP assists low-income households, with special attention to households that spend a high percentage of their total income on home energy.
