
In the CommunityGrant Application and Requirements GuidelinesApply Online Applicants for grants from the Piedmont Natural Gas Foundation must be nonprofit organizations with tax-exempt status under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code or qualified government entities. All nonprofit organizations seeking grants must adhere to the Foundation¿s application requirements and guidelines. All grant requests must be submitted through a web-based online application. The Foundation's Board of Directors meets quarterly to review and award grants. To ensure prompt Board consideration, completed applications must be received no less than six weeks prior to a scheduled board meeting.
Certain grant requests may warrant further research and evaluation as determined by the Foundation Staff.
In certain circumstances, the Foundation Staff may request additional information, perform site visits; conduct interviews, etc. in an effort to provide a more focused evaluation of a particular grant application.
