The Transaction Control Analyst position ensures the data integrity in the Gas Costing System (GCS) and provides increased controls over the gas trading deals by managing the gas supply counterparty confirm process and daily processes to validate GCS deal with deal contractual support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration or similar or equivalent education and work experience combined.  
• Competence in Business Administration, Risk Management and controls. 
• High level understanding of the impact of Gas Supply deals on teh Gas Accounting function. 
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel and databases. 
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills with specific attention to detail.

Preferred Requirements:

• Two years experience in commodity procurement or trading 
• Understanding of gas scheduling, pipeline rate schedules, long-term supply agreements and capacity release deals. 
• Familiarity with energy transaction management systems. 
• Knowledge of Gas Costing System (GCS)

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time.

Other Requirements:
Position will be based in Charlotte. Overtime will be a requirement of this job, with potentially long hours during the closing process.
