Responsible for ensuring the operation integrity and adequate cathodic protection on both transmission and distribution systems. This person will be involved in supporting pipeline integrity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a High School diploma, and valid drivers license   
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and overnight travel   
• mathematical and electrical aptitude, and basic computer skills to include Windows, Excel and Word   
• Ability to learn GIS and operate GPS equipment    
• Must attain CP Tester NACE certification (Level II) within one year of job entry   
• Minimum of two years experience in pipeline corrosion control.

Preferred Requirements:

• CP Tester NACE certification (Level II)   
• Two year associates degree in electronics   
• Non-Destructive testing (NDT) certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, walk long distance over uneven terrain, bend and stoop for periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., drive long distances, climb ladders.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work independently and prioritize work load
