Incumbent will be responsible for a variety of skilled activities associated with the installation and maintenance of gas meters, equipment, and related products in accordance with applicable policies, code regulations and safety procedures. Minimum Requirements: - High school diploma or GED
- Plumbing license
- Minimum 1 year related service experience
- Valid drivers license
- Demonstrated effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Requirements: - Technical or trade school training preferably in appliance service or other related field
- PC experience working in a Windows environment
- Service experience converting propane equipment to natural gas
Physical Requirements:
Must access crawl spaces and attic spaces; frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting (up to 75 lbs); frequent walking over uneven terrain; must get in and out of vehicle; must frequently use hand tools to install/repair gas appliances, equipment, and lines (turning wrenches etc.); must work outdoors in all types of weather. Other Requirements:
Weekend and evening work as required; some rotating shifts; On-call as required; Must reside in service area.
