Job Title: Supervisor System Integrity (Corrosion Control)

This position will oversee all aspects for the System Integrity Technicians and Associates. Manage the cathodic protection systems for 2600 miles of steel transmission and 9200 miles of steel distribution pipelines. Implement plans developed by the Cathodic Protection Specialist. Coordinate the implementation, execution, and documentation of work required by Piedmont's Corrosion Control and Pipeline Integrity Programs. This position includes direct supervision and technical support of in-house technicians to ensure compliance with State regulations and company policies and procedures. Support Pipeline Integrity in performing inspections and coordinating with contractors. Minimum Requirements: - Must be NACE certified CP Level II (must attain CP Tester NACE certification Level III within one year of job entry).
- Minimum of 7 years experience in pipeline corrosion control.
- Must possess a High School diploma and valid drivers license.
- Mathematical and electrical aptitude, ability to read and interpret maps, and basic computer skills to include Windows, Excel and Word.
- Ability to learn GIS and operate GPS equipment.
- Effective management skills to coordinate and oversee technicians and contractors.
Preferred Requirements: - CP Tester NACE certification (Level III) or equivalent
- Supervisory experience in managing CP Technicians
- Two year associates degree in electronics
- Non-Destructive testing (NDT) certification
Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, walk long distance over uneven terrain, bend and stoop for periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., drive long distances, climb ladders. Other Requirements: Ability to work independently and prioritize work load
