The Sr. Accounting and Fixed Asset Analyst provides direct support to the department supervisor in the performance of critical analytical and accounting responsibilities related to fixed assets, projects, Depreciation Regulatory and SEC reporting and special projects as necessary. This position will support the new fixed asset/projects team; research relevant accounting pronouncements, interpretations and other new or revised regulatory guidance in order to recommend and implement or assist with implementation and ongoing compliance. In addition, this position will support the overall General Accounting and financial process as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• BS/BA in Accounting
• CPA certification
• Minimum 5 years of researching and implementing accounting pronouncements and other regulatory and reporting requirements
• Must have 5-7 years fixed asset accounting related experience
• Must be organized, detail oriented, motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Requirements:                           

• MBA
• "Hands on" IFRS experience
• Experience with Regulatory Accounting
• Experience with PeopleSoft (Oracle, SAP)

Physical Requirements:
Must have good visual acuity and hearing and must be able to sit for long periods at a personal computer.

Other Requirements: 
Work evenings and weekend hours as necessary. Must be able to work as an effective member of the team and share work duties with others on an as needed basis. The variety of responsibilities and tasks require the Sr. Accounting and Fixed Asset Analyst to multi-task and manage different projects and changing priorities concurrently.
