Career Opportunities

Engineering support for the operation of the company SCADA host system including the application side of the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and the RMR (Remote Meter Reading) systems. Primary responsibilities include system support, migration planning, data base configuration, integrity and administration, vendor contract administration, display building, and system security.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science-Computer or Electrical Engineering 
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability 
• Demonstrated effective organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills 
• Proficient in PC computer operations (Windows, Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, databases, reporting, etc.) 
• Proficient mathematical skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Two (2) years of utility experience with emphasis on SCADA, Gas Measurement, Instrumentation, and Control Logic Devices 
• Project Engineering/Management Experience 
• Microsoft Systems Engineer Certified 
• Network and telecommunications experience, design, set-up, and troubleshooting  
• Demonstrated knowledge with SQL databases

Physical Requirements: Good vision and hearing, Control Room/Office environment, continuous interaction with PCs. 

Other Requirements: On-call responsibilities 24 / 7 on occasion, evening and weekend work occasionally required. Some fieldwork and walking on uneven terrain during training events
