The Manager of Integrated Audit is responsible for establishing the annual plan of Information Technology (IT)/Integrated, financial and operational audits, and planning, directing, supervising, and evaluating the work of IT/Integrated auditors in accomplishing that plan.  In conjunction with the Audit Director, the Manager of Integrated Audit will develop an action plan for performing integrated audits (both functional & IT controls) focusing on PNG’s business and control risks, identify process improvements to increase efficiencies, communicate the results to all levels of management, and train auditors to perform integrated audits.  The incumbent will participate in a wide variety of Company projects to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and potential efficiencies are considered.  Finally the Integrated Audit Manager will report results formally in audit reports/memos or informally to the Director- Internal Audit, Management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors as directed by the Director – Internal Audit.

Minimum Requirements:

  • B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting, Information Services (IS) or Computer Science (CS)   
  • Professional certification (CISA, CPA, CIA, CFE)   
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of Information Services or Technology auditing experience (all phases of audits)    
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing (including training and developing), scheduling, reviewing, supervising, and evaluating the work of other auditors   
  • Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley and related testing requirements   
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and organization skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • MBA or Masters in Accounting, Information Services (IS) or Computer Science (CS)   
  • Experience auditing business application systems (PeopleSoft), DB2 and Oracle databases and mainframe and client-server environments.   
  • Experience with various security software products including RACF, event correlation tools, IPS/IDS, firewalls and Active Directory.   
  • Knowledge of continuous auditing approach, virtualization technology, mobile applications and outsourcing services.   
  • Experience with ACL, IDEA and/or other similar data retrieval tools for auditors and continuous auditing/monitoring.

Physical Requirements:

  • May require sitting for long periods of time while working on a computer

Other Requirements:

  • Approximately 10% travel required, primarily to district locations and external training.    
  • Limited evening and weekend work as required.
