Responsible for a variety of activities associated with the installation and maintenance of distribution and transmission pipelines to include directing crew members.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED   
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude    
• Valid driver's license/CDL   
• Demonstrated leadership skills & abilities    
• Demonstrated effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills  
• Minimum 2 years job related experience

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of natural gas operations   
• Knowledge of related OSHA and DOT regulations   
• Supervisory experience   
• Certified Plastic Fuser

Physical Requirements:

Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting (up to 80 lbs); frequent walking over uneven terrain

Other Requirements:

On-call, weekend and evening work as required; must obtain and maintain unrestricted fusion certification; must successfully complete required classes. will be required to work outside during all types of weather. Must live within 30 minutes drive of the respective district office. Must take and pass all required OQ testing and training classes in the Technical Training Handbook for Lead Utility Crew position.
