The Corrosion Analyst reports to Corrosion Supervisor to support company cathodic protection and pipeline integrity. Responsibilities include helping oversee company cathodic protection technicians and data measured in the field, coordination of the pipeline inspections for pipeline integrity, overseeing state and federal code compliance for all cathodic protection, trouble shooting and evaluating solutions for company cathodic protection projects, training in using advanced CP equipment and non-destructive testing (NDT) tools, and overseeing the repair of transmission and distribution pipeline assets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and good driving record  
• NACE CP Level II Certification  
• 8-10 years equivalent industry experience in Cathodic Protection  
• High school diploma or equivalent  
• Understanding of Cathodic Protection design, installation, maintenance, and monitoring techniques  
• Must be willing to reside in Charlotte and travel 35% of time in this position for both scheduled and call-out basis

Preferred Requirements:

• 2-year Associates Degree  
• Experience in pipeline welding, construction, and pipeline repairs  
• NACE CP Level III Senior Technologist Certification  
• Knowledgeable using GIS system  
• S.S.P.C coating inspections C1 & C2 certifications  
• Certification in Level I Ultrasonics

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift in excess of 70 lbs., crawl, climb, bend, stoop, squat and jump  

Other Requirements:

Work and drive in extreme weather conditions.
