Incumbent will conduct integrated audits under the direction of Internal Audit management. Obtains, interprets, analyzes, and evaluates evidence as a base for an informed, objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control system. Conducts Sarbanes-Oxley testing under the direction of the Auditor. Assist in planning the scope and objectives of audits and developing comprehensive, practical audit programs as appropriate. Make oral and written presentations to management during and at the conclusion of audits, expressing opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of internal control. Abide by the Code of Ethics, keep abreast of current audit techniques and information technology.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.A./B.S. degree in a related field    
• Minimum of two-years auditing experience    
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills    
• Professional certification (CPA or CIA)*

Preferred Requirements:

• B.S./B.A. degree in Accounting    
• Integrated audit and flow charting experience    
• Experience in public accounting and/or internal audit

Physical Requirements:  Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time at a personal computer.

Other Requirements:  Approximately 5% travel required, primarily to district locations and external training. 

*If not currently certified, must be working toward and obtain professional certification within two years.
